Hmmm no edit button for my first post..got mixed with the Nationa Commem..looks like this went well too fair play to all involved.What time was it on at?Would've headed to that too if knew :-(

would it make any difference to you if he wasnt,would it really affect the whole wider issue if he wasnt?

I am aware of the issues surrounding his death mo chara but hopefully we can all look at the positives and his contribution and sacrifice for his beliefs that will reign above any negatives

iam not knocking him personaly. i liked him. but a roll of honour is for people who fall on AS or as a result of struggle. There are hundreds of thousands of great republicians, thankfully the majority of them die as a result of natural causes, the provo's have a seperate roll of rememberance for them. personaly i think thats more appropriate.

Personally i agree with OTOR, the roll of honour should only be for volunteers who die as a direct result of their involvement with the struggle, Jo Jo, Kiddo and Ronan definitely fall into this category.

Sadly I missed the grave that day but made the evenning get together. It was good crack and exactly what Ronán would have wanted.

he would turn in his grave if he seen what is going on in his own town now,there all back biting each other and spreading lies about good republicans.he was a good lad and the struggle they died for will grow in numbers again it will just take time..... if they get rid of some of the crap in dublin...
