Tommy did a good job indeed.

Good to see some of these people being brought back into the scene, they have a lot to offer the young.

More than just the young could do with listening to speeches like Tommy's. The importance of organised labour as a site of struggle seems off many agendas. Labour cannot wait.

As you say, fantastic to see Tommy being given another platform and audience.

Does anyone know if the excellent speech by éirígí's new Rúnaí Ginerearálta, Rab Jackson, is available online yet?

I'll be honest when I say I wasn't as impressed by Brian Leeson as I was when he was on that TV show.

However, I suppose his mind was on the Ard Feis.

I thought his speech was fine, he is an eloquent spokesperson. Were many jars sunk after the Ard Fheis/Commemoration? that's usually one oul tradition that never changes.
