I am working on setting up a Ogra Shinn Fein cumann in a urban area where Sinn Féin have a low representation and was hoping for advice on how to go about doing so.

I am a member of the party locally with responsibility for developing Ogra in the area and am in regular contact with what the documents I received from head office would call the local Sinn Fein leadership.

Go raibh maith agat.

comrade, if you are a member of Ogra, you'd be better off contacting other members directly, they have plenty of experience with setting up new structures and should be able to give you whatever help or direction you need. If you pm the ogra poster on here it will get the ball rolling.

That might help, would be better if they involved throwing you out of it :) Having read these forums in the past, I've learned that you're the No.1 Ogra SF supporter here, so I expected yours to be the first response.

Go raibh maith agat. A very helpful response unlike the previous clown (personal opinion) who responded as I'd expected. I'll leave it up to you if you wish to lock this thread, comrade, as if its only going to attract negative attention I would prefer it wasn't open.
