You're right enough can't be anything but the Forresters. They are a social group a bit like the AOH, they mostly just run social clubs and have an annual St Pat's day church parade nowadays. Their origins might owe something to the Kern.

Irish National Federation I'd say it must be the sash of, AFAIK they were the very best kind of Catholic bigot old Ireland had to offer, they were founded as a breakaway from the IPP after Parnell had refused to resign.
