Fill in the poll please. If you're already fluent, no need to answer ;)

I can never find the time to learn it. I was near fluent at one stage, and it's lack of speaking that caused me to loose it. Perhaps we should setup local Irish speaking clubs or something.

There are lots of local conversation classes. If anybody is interested, post your town or city and I'll do my best to find you one.

I chose the last option. Determined to become fluent, at all costs.

OK...here is the dream....to be an Irish language teacher in Maghaberry. Don't anyone laugh. :eusa_naughty:

I took irish for 3 years in secondary school at KS3 but I think the teacher over complicated it. The only words I can remember was an borgoria (probally spelt wrong) and an bhus. I never understund eclipsis or that other grammer rule that I can't remember at the minute, becuase we were expected to get it as he did it without explaining it.

The method of teaching gaeilge in Ireland is terrible - it's not your fault that you can't remember a large portion of it. I'd suggest if you're interested to look into getting the turas teanga DVD set. It will help you brush back up.

LOL!:icon_lol: No one can undertand me now, nevermind a few drinks!:icon_laugh: Just a joke, I know what you mean, an actual club for speaking Irish......just a little levity!
