Yes, you are correct. It kind of sounds like you're hocking up a spit - the ch. So a subtle ch or a k, whichever would work fine.

I am most certainly not the expert! I have a very moderate level of Irish and I appreciate any additions you have to this forum :)

Comahlata Rialta = covalta real-ta

comhalta rialta means "regular member"
