i solved this problem by doing this..

go to your user CP and then "edit options", scroll down and there's a box that says in it:

"When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread."

then a box with a list of options, select "do not subscribe"

I have solved the problem for people that register new.
If you are an existing member (Dilseacht) do what Calv says.

Could you please edit my cp so I receive an e mail when a reply is made. I've tried to set it up myself but its just blank pages when I go to edit options.
