What's going on? Problems with the site?

Is anyone else having problems with the site or is it just my system? The site is lagging so bad, it takes forever to change pages. And then its throwing me into a 'no connection' page, that says there a problems with the database. I have double posted a couple times today, because I've timed out while composing a post and then have to sign back in, and repost what I thought I lost, and there is my original post. Other times I have lost the post completely........ Its bizarre, just wondering if anyone else is having problems.

a wee problem here, perhaps one of the admin people can help.

i got a visitor message from hildy on my profile page. but where it says notification the little 1 still remains even though i have read hildy's message and left the site, come back and its still there. is there some of getting rid of the wee noticifaction 1 thing??? thanks.

hey robert, when you click on the 1 in the message, where does it take you? to the message I left you? Try leaving me a return test message and see if that takes it away.
