I have noticed that more and more frequently, enemy s of the Sinn Fein Movement are using quotes from Royalist owed papers like The belfast telegraph, sunday life , irish/sunday independant, ( Sir Antoney o reillys) the sun . the miror etc.and quotes from bbc ni to attack sinn fein with. I even seen a quote using the london word in referring to Derry!

is it a case that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

to be fair mate, i post a lot of the stories up from whatever source they become available. the content to the story i cant help but we need stuff to debate on and, well, argue over.

The same is used to "attack" other groups. Whenever there is any story related to republicanism somebody will put it up. I think people though see through the more blatant anti republicanism of some of these papers including towards PSF.

i agree with you quirk. the main stream papers do tend to attack any group which they deem to be anti GFA or similar.

Personly i would not or do not support by patronage, any blatently anti republican paper. to buy is to support. to support is to strengthen, to quote is to promote.

Given that PSF are paid for by a monarchy, would it not be fair to say that Adams and Co. are a royalist party?

:eusa_clap: Good to see someone posting with sense rather than post the usual rubbish.

If not royalist, then Royal? As in Royal Dublin Society? We could have the Royal Collaborators and Informers Society.

Have you ever wondered why one or two lines say everything there is to say about the Adamites?

No matter what your opinion is the rules of the board state that you cant be calling people such names. You know yourself that it will just derail threads.

I would nearly any source as long as it was half respectable, except the sunday world obviously. Intelligent posters should be able to distinguish between facts and exaggerations. But I can see where you're coming from, some of the shinner bashing I've noticed could almost be regarded loyalist taunts.
